Dear Adrian,
I am most inspired by you, I know it is a hard life that you are living, but the experience that you will gain, will out weigh any material or other considerations in life. Probably in times like these we truly understand the meaning of life and the meaningless of many things that we value n treasure. We forget the joy of simply living and getting up in the morning and just being happy to be alive. my own personal trajectory has been very different, but still very similar to yours, at times one gives in and feels whether it is worth anything at all, but most of the times, when one is with oneself completly one knows that there could be no other way. I hope that I will have a chance to meet you. I dont know where I will be, but if you ever feel like leaving columbia and other opportunities arise, you could drop in to meet me. My home be it in India or anywhere esle in the world will be open to you.
Cheers,
Bindu

Yes exactly it doesn't mean really that we do a separate work does it? But wait i think the idea of making 2 separate proposals doesn't really sound good:
1. i'm not sure if it is possible by IAA rules (if there are some)
2. I think that whole uniqueness is in making 2 different approaches (works) coming together into 1.
and it doesn't necessarily mean that you cannot do Khantsi...

How do you think?

The now is about not forgetting all the victims, all the stupidity of war, that keeps on going, and seems to never have an end... Colombia has been in war for more than 50 years, but the astonishing fact is that the Goverment only reinforces the war, and forgets all the victims, the displaced people and do not give them back their territories. But also because out of this nonsense, there are people, specially women that are mostly the survivors, who have the strength to overtake this situations, and rescue all the basic principles to start living in peace, to build up their lifes, give them meaning, my interest is founded on this strength...how do they overcome crisis, how they become conscious of a new way to exist, is like resucitation, renewal out of death, transformation...I found this resilence the only regainable aspect of war.

Art,

Art is a product of the will's interaction with the language of the world otherwise it becomes irrelevant. The hand only works at the command of the will. If one's will is ignorant of the language of the world then that ignorance breeds irrelavannce as the subject of the art will inevitably fail to speak to the viewers heart and teach the mind....Idealy all human interaction is artistic but we live in the age of utility in a utilitarian culture......

Budget,
There is a hitch here.....my ideal interactions are void of money I find them to be free of want and therefore honest. But given the age of utility and the obsession with things and the domination of the idea that man can not be seperated from matter which thinks......things are likely to be exchanged somehow. But the key value here is the budget of the journey from where I'm sitting now to the point of interaction with the subject(s) - the whoevers and whatevers. So I plan to travel on a limited travel allowance to cover visa payments and leave the rest to the gods including what I eat and where I sleep. Today the value of money is determined by the amount of labour that produces a product. I aim to create the value....so the budget I seek is purely for travel. It would be naive to attempt this on nothing I have calculated this figure to be a minimum of £3500 and I aim to work with the minimum.

Revising Angelina Jolie is an interesting idea, Breda I really liked that but more abstract. Ophelia is a known literature character, which has been faded, or dissolved into a myth. Ophelia is present and not present at the same time, for me she is a flickering image. Ophelia well described western female icon and this is why I like to work on her controversial personality with other women introdusing them to the notion of femalehood.

Art is a therapy for us. Recollecting you memories could be a good thing for you Taus. I personally think you should go for it. I am sure you will put your idea in shape sooner or later. It sounds like you need to go through all that process to find your place in it. Look at the material you have got, go through archive material again and again. I promise you it will help to realize your idea.
